The objective of the <CFScrum> project is to unify advantages of the ColdFusion rapid application development framework and the Scrum/Agile rapid application development process. CFScrum empowers developers with the ability to manage ColdFusion projects, using the Scrum programming methodology, in an open source schema, while supported by a highly qualified community of Scrum and ColdFusion experts.

Since the advent of Six Sigma in the manufacturing industry in 1981 coders have been defining, redefining, naming and renaming the engineering and process control aspects of their industry. Tools and methodologies to better the production of software have come and gone, but they all employ the same basic functions. These functions are efficient management of process, people and quality. The key to software success is a solid and easily replicated process combined with talented people and teamwork. Tools, such as CFScrum, that control the process, are key to ensuring maximum quality, minimum turnaround time and, ultimately, a high degree of customer satisfaction.
